Our content standards

Editorial policy & how we review

Every TruSpyX™ guide is researched, tested, fact-checked and reviewed for lawful, consent-based use before it's published. Here's exactly how we work — and how to reach us if we get something wrong.

Our principles

How we create and review content

The standards behind every guide on TruSpyX™.

We test what we write about

Our guides are based on hands-on use of monitoring, parental-control and safety tools — not guesswork. When we describe a feature or a setup step, we've done it ourselves.

Lawful, consent-based by default

Every guide is written and reviewed for lawful, consent-based use only — parents with their minor children, or a device you own or manage with the required consent. We never encourage covert surveillance of another adult.

Fact-checked & sourced

We check claims against primary sources — official platform documentation, government and non-profit safety resources, and current guidance — and link out to authoritative references where they help.

Kept up to date

Apps, devices and laws change. We review our most important guides regularly and update them, showing a 'last reviewed' date so you know how current the guidance is.

Independent of the sale

Our safety and how-to guidance is written to be genuinely useful first. We're transparent that TruSpyX™ is our product, and we don't misrepresent competitors.

Corrections welcome

If something is unclear, out of date or wrong, tell us and we'll fix it promptly. Accuracy matters more to us than being first.

Who writes our guides

The TruSpyX™ Editorial Team

The TruSpyX™ Editorial Team researches digital parenting, online child safety and phone-monitoring topics, tests the tools we write about, and reviews every guide for accuracy and lawful, consent-based use. We update our guidance as apps, devices and laws change.

We write about topics we work with every day: parental controls, online child safety, phone monitoring, digital wellbeing, consent-based monitoring law. Guidance that touches the law or a child's safety is treated as a serious responsibility — we keep it general, point you to the rules that apply where you live, and never present marketing as legal advice.

Our review process

  • Research the topic against primary and authoritative sources
  • Test the relevant setup or feature hands-on where applicable
  • Draft in plain language with clear, skimmable structure
  • Review for factual accuracy and lawful, consent-based framing
  • Publish with an author, a published date and a 'last reviewed' date
  • Revisit and update as apps, devices and laws change
Trust & transparency

Corrections, sources and disclosure

Corrections. Spotted an error or something out of date? Email us or use the contact form. We review every report and correct confirmed issues quickly, updating the “last reviewed” date.

Sources. Where it helps, our guides link to authoritative external references — official platform safety centres, government and non-profit online-safety organisations, and current guidance — so you can verify and go deeper.

Disclosure. TruSpyX™ is our own product, and our guides are educational, not legal advice. Monitoring laws vary by country and state; you are responsible for using TruSpyX™ in line with the rules that apply to you, on devices you own or with the required consent.
